DWCF is dedicated to the advancement of education, training and knowledge within the veterinary profession; and the provision of funds and clinical expertise to organisations that help to relieve the suffering of animals.

Established in 2010, it receives much of its income from the Continuing Education activities of Dick White Referrals, a specialist veterinary referral centre based on the outskirts of Newmarket, Suffolk.
